Whatever happened to people having respect for people? Whatever happened to having good parents, no-divorce marriages, and money intelligent people?
Have you ever had a friend go out with your ex?
Or maybe you caught your mom cheating on your dad or your brother started smoking behind your back?
What about teachers having sex with students and friends ganging up on other people? Have you ever wondered about why these things are happening?
Before the end of the world comes, things will be like they were before the flood of Noah’s time. It is written:
The Arrival of the Son of Man will take place in times like Noah’s. Before the great flood everyone was carrying on as usual, having a good time right up to the day Noah boarded the ark. They knew nothing—until the flood hit and swept everything away.
But, we want to postpone that and have as many people saved as possible before that happens.
People will do you wrong. There’s no person that you have in this life that didn’t disappoint you in one way or another but that doesn’t mean you can’t stop loving them.
We have all done our share of things and so as we would like to be forgiven we should also forgive others.
Forgiving people is harder than what it seems, we know that but it is possible.
Practice by thinking of someone who did you wrong recently and go back to them and forgive them.
This is very hard and quite an unusual thing to do today in society but it’s so necessary to tell someone face to face that you forgive them. It relieves a weight off their shoulders and more importantly your shoulders.
Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you’re back to becoming best friends with them Forgiving a past friend or relative means you can both now let go of the past. Be clear on what you want to forgive that person for and move on.
While the world will continue to spread darkness, you have a light. Use your light.
At work, at home, and whenever you are out- you can spread good cheer to people. Those that God brings to you need help, need someone who cares and is genuine.
our minds can get caught up in the problems of the world as a whole including politics, bad news, social media, and more but life isn’t always about the picture.
Life is also about the people next to you. The people you work with and the friends you make along your journey. These are the people God asked you to touch.
The people in front of you are not there because they so happen to be.These people are the people you were asked to take care of and listen to.
How can you impact people’s lives?
All over social media and in the news we know of the shooting crisis we go through every few months in the United States. The missing people, the terrorist attacks, sexual harassment allegations, political affairs, and the list can go on and on.
It’s overwhelming to hear bad news all the time. Yet it is so true that as much attention that bad news receives there’s also good news happening every second of our day.
There are children being born, couples getting married, scientists accomplishing cures, people being saved, students learning, people working- these are just things we take for granted.
The world is not so bad when you really look into it. For the most part, society does good things. They just so happen to be boring for the media to showcase.
I say that if you keep fulfilling your role in this universe while loving the people around you then you’re doing your part. You’re doing more than most people do. There are people that hate others and hurt others. They roam the streets, without work or purpose.
As long as we do our part, and reach out to them when God grants us the opportunity to do so we are living life right.
It’s easy to get discouraged in this world, especially with the tough news out there but I’ll tell you that there are good things still happening and going to happen.
You just got to look for the good in the bad too.
