If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a blizzard headed to New York City this Saturday and if you’re familiar with the city that never sleeps it means that unless it’ll be another Hurricane Sandy all New Yorkers will still be headed to work and will have to travel through the snow and rain whether they like it or not.
Last year, Mayor Bill De Blasio had his first go around with winter in New York City and there was poor communication between the state of New York and the city of New York itself. Manhattan had problems with plowing and salt, trains and all transit was effected by the weather. What happens when a large amount of people are frustrated and angry about the same issue? They blame the government and so for New Yorkers, we blame our mayor which so happened to be Bill De Blasio.
Are you are wondering why I’m talking about the weather today?
I’m talking about the weather because I realized today that there are so many things out of our control. The weather, other people’s decisions, life, and death. What hit me today was that Daddy God knows I need money. I have bills to pay and debt to pay off like most people yet, there’s a storm coming on Saturday that has slowed business all week and has effected the hours I am now getting at work.
Daddy God knows all of my struggles and every one of your struggles and if Saturday is going to be a struggle for you understand that Daddy God has it all figured out.
When Christ took our sins at the cross and gave us His righteousness Daddy God completed His Work. It is written:
28 Jesus, seeing that everything had been completed so that the Scripture record might also be complete, then said, “I’m thirsty.”
29-30 A jug of sour wine was standing by. Someone put a sponge soaked with the wine on a javelin and lifted it to his mouth. After he took the wine, Jesus said, “It’s done . . . complete.” Bowing his head, he offered up his spirit.
Anytime you hear bad news, or are unsure about what’s next you must remember that Daddy God completed everything. The peace that this Good News brings to you is amazing.
By the way, Bill De Blasio has pledged for New York City to have better coordination on Saturday. We will need all the coordination we can have for the city that never sleeps.
