I Feel Overwhelmed

It hits you randomly. The feeling of being overwhelmed. You could be resting on the couch or trying to conquer a goal like typing up this article and it hits you. You need to do so much and want to achieve so much more and You don’t know where to begin and what to do and when to do it.

This happens to everyone but most people don’t talk about it. They push it over to the next day. It just keeps piling up until you collapse. You don’t have to talk about it but you do need to solve the problem. Having your mind consumed daily by errands, goals and chores will crush you. Where do we begin to clear the chaos?

Carry a Notepad

When you wake up, make sure you take a pen and a notepad. It seems simple but listen. Throughout the day write your goals. On your break, list everything you need to get done. It can be from picking up your daughter to saving up for a trip to New York City. Just list everything. Everything means ideas, thoughts, vacations, chores and more. When all these things are written it transfers from your mind to the paper.

You’re going to see that some things don’t need to happen today. Others must be done today. You’ll also see that you can delegate chores. Work your kids too, they live for free have them help!

Use Your Phone

If for any reason you forget the notepad, write your list on your phone. It’s not as effective but it is better than nothing.
