Lancaster, PA is known for various things. I know that you fellow Lancasterites have been asked by tourists of the Amish, hiking, downtown and the parks we have here but recently with all the murders and shootings it may be that people will forget the good things Lancaster had to offer and hear of the bad
For those of you who love Lancaster and want to keep a reputation for Lancaster that reflects the good in our little city there’s one way to help. The only way is to report something.
Report anything you see or hear that is suspicious.
You’re the citizens of Lancaster, PA. Every day you drive through these streets and you know the people who live here. King Street McDonalds, Field of Screams and the local farms. You know who’s selling what and when people get involved in bad situations. We all have a conscience and/or the Holy Spirit. Saying something can prevent a child’s murder 2 weeks from now or a man killing his wife a year later.
If you spot someone who is sick or is acting odd, report it. Help them before they make a mistake. If you know something is about to go down report it. Report it anonymously. If you hear your neighbors quarreling, report it. It could be nothing, like they could be yelling at the tv while watching a football game but it could be something. It could be domestic violence.
Don’t risk it Lancasterites. Report anything and crime will flee. Letting things go makes you responsible for that crime.
Lancaster should be a great place to go apple picking, do hay rides and stroll through the city. Don’t let it get chaotic. That’s your duty.
