When everything around you seems to be moving forward and yet your business is at the same place. It may feel like there’s no progression for you. Have you ever noticed how everything you touch seems to be excelling yet the projects you want to work on are staying at a standstill?

Take it easy. While you’re working at that restaurant make sure that when you get home or are able to settle down into your laptop you should do something that gets you closer toward your goals.

It’s better to do one thing than nothing at all even if you feel like it’ll lead you to nothing.

It may also be tempting to try other things to get yourself ahead. I have found that only thing that can you get ahead is sales. Learning to sell, selling your own product and marketing yourself.

When I started my business I had no idea what I was doing and had too much time to do nothing. I had more time yet did nothing in my time because I had no idea what I was doing. As time passed I knew what to do and can now handle my side business with the work I have to do to support myself.

If your goal is to make income off of what you do online or selling your own products, it will take time. While it may take less for others, they most likely knew what they wanted to do and what they wanted to sell. I had no idea on the other hand! When you do learn to sell, make sure you do so!

It took time for me to know what I needed to get done.  While I am working at a restaurant while doing all the things I want to do for true works as well it is hard to work for someone else while wanting to do my own things I use that as motivation to keep me going to have my own business one day.

That day can be tomorrow or 5 years from now. With that being said you will never know when your moment is but what I don’t know is that your moment will never come if you don’t do anything.

Keep at it. Although it may seem pointless to keep going, it’s the people who do something every day that gets people to notice their work.

Whether it’s coming up with a new product, writing an article, writing a line in your song, or whatever it may be, just make sure you do something every day. The way I handle this is by writing notes.

I have a specific notebook that I date and write down everything I wish to accomplish today. Now some people will ask of you to complete everything on your list at the time you listed but for someone who’s working another job, it may be harder t finish projects ven though your ideas are running crazy and flowing while at work.

It’s important to write everything down and by everything I mean, every idea, every thought, every single goal you have. Write it down! The reason you write things down is so that later you can see if things are as important as they were when you thought of them.

While you have limited time you can focus on what NEEDS to get done and let go oof the other things that aren’t a priority. You will save yourself many headaches by writing things down instead of leaving them in your head.
